1. Introduction

1.1 These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the online courses, coaching, digital content, live events, workshops, talks, training sessions, and related services provided by Be Your Own Saviour Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).

1.2 By purchasing, registering for, accessing, attending, or using The BYOS Method, The BYOS Method Advanced, any associated coaching sessions, live events, workshops, talks, or training sessions (together the “Services”), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

1.3 If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access, attend, or use our Services.

2. Nature of the Services

2.1 Our Services provide emotional regulation training, self-development coaching, educational content, and guidance for individuals wishing to improve their personal well-being and self-awareness.

2.2 All Services delivered by Be Your Own Saviour Ltd are non-therapeutic, non-medical, and non-diagnostic. We do not provide counselling, psychotherapy, psychological treatment, medical advice, or any form of regulated healthcare.

2.3 Any reference to “healing”, “emotional release”, “energy”, “processing”, or similar terms refers solely to personal development outcomes and subjective experiences, not medical or clinical treatment.

3. Eligibility

3.1 You must be at least 18 years old to purchase, register for, attend, or use our Services.

3.2 You are responsible for ensuring that the Services are appropriate for your personal needs and circumstances.

4. No Medical or Psychological Advice

4.1 The Services are not a substitute for medical, psychological, psychiatric, or therapeutic treatment.

4.2 We do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any physical or mental health condition.

4.3 You must seek independent professional advice if you have concerns about your physical or mental health.

4.4 You must not disregard medical advice or delay seeking it because of anything included within the Services.

5. Personal Responsibility

5.1 You participate voluntarily and are solely responsible for your physical, mental, and emotional well-being at all times.

5.2 You understand that emotional development work can occasionally lead to temporary discomfort, such as fatigue, mood changes, headaches, or increased emotional sensitivity. These effects are normal in personal development contexts and are not harmful.

5.3 You agree to stop engaging with the Services and seek professional help if you experience distress or adverse effects that concern you.

6. Live Events and Participation

6.1 By registering for or attending a Be Your Own Saviour Ltd live event, workshop, talk, or training session, you acknowledge that participation is voluntary and that all information, exercises, and techniques provided, including training in the BYOS Method™, are provided for educational and personal development purposes only. They are not intended to constitute medical, psychological, or other healthcare advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

6.2 You remain responsible for your own participation and well-being throughout the event.

7. User Obligations

You agree to:

a) use the Services for lawful personal purposes only;

b) not share login details or course materials with any third party;

c) not reproduce, distribute, or sell our materials;

d) provide accurate information when registering or booking;

e) comply with all instructions, disclaimers, and guidance provided.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 All intellectual property in The BYOS Method, The BYOS Method Advanced, course materials, videos, coaching content, live-event training content, branding, and documentation belongs to Be Your Own Saviour Ltd.

8.2 You are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable licence to access and use the Services solely for your own personal use.

8.3 You must not:

• copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute the content;

• share or resell the programme;

• present the methods as your own;

• create derivative works without prior written consent.

9. Payment & Refund Policy

9.1 All fees must be paid in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing.

9.2 Refunds are provided only as required by law or if expressly stated on our website or sales pages.

9.3 Once digital content has been accessed, you acknowledge that your right to cancel may be lost under UK consumer protection regulations.

10. Cancellation & Termination

10.1 We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you breach these Terms.

10.2 You may request cancellation by contacting us, but refunds will only be issued in line with Clause 9.

11. Liability & Disclaimer

11.1 Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under UK law (e.g., fraud).

11.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Be Your Own Saviour Ltd excludes all liability for:

• any physical, emotional, or mental reactions experienced during or after using or participating in the Services;

• any loss, injury, or damage arising from reliance on the content;

• indirect, consequential, or economic losses;

• your interpretation or application of the programme content.

11.3 You understand and agree that you are fully responsible for your decisions, actions, results, and well-being.

11.4 We make no guarantees regarding specific outcomes, results, or changes.

12. International Use

12.1 Users and attendees accessing or participating in the Services from outside Jersey, England or Wales are responsible for ensuring that their use of the Services complies with any applicable laws in their own jurisdiction.

12.2 The governing law and jurisdiction applicable to the Services are set out in Clause 17 below, subject always to any mandatory consumer rights or protections that apply in your country of residence.

13. Third-Party Services

13.1 We may link to or use third-party tools or platforms (e.g., payment providers, video hosting). We are not responsible for the content or performance of third-party services.

14. Photography, Filming and Recording

14.1 Be Your Own Saviour Ltd events may be photographed, filmed, audio recorded, or livestreamed. Content captured may be used for educational, promotional, marketing, and commercial purposes, including publication on our websites, social media channels, YouTube, and other digital platforms.

14.2 Attendees who do not wish to be identifiable in photographs or recordings should notify a member of the Be Your Own Saviour Ltd team before the event begins, and we will take reasonable steps to avoid including them in identifiable content.

15. Privacy & Data Protection

15.1 We process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018 and, where applicable, UK data protection legislation, together with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

15.2 By using the Services, you consent to the processing of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

16. Changes to These Terms

16.1 We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

17.1 Where the Services are provided at a live event held in Jersey, these Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with that event shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Jersey.

17.2 Where the Services are provided at a live event held in England or Wales, these Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with that event shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales.

17.3 Unless otherwise stated, all online, digital and remote Services provided by Be Your Own Saviour Ltd shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales.

17.4 The courts of the applicable jurisdiction specified above shall have jurisdiction in relation to any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Services, subject always to any mandatory consumer rights or protections that apply.
